Meigs County High School wins Pink Ribbon Bowl Challenge

THE Meigs County High School Pink Ribbon Bowl Team was recently named the Pink Ribbon Bowl Challenge winner. The team raised $1,666 as part of the Pink Ribbon Bowl Challenge among the participating schools (Polk, Meigs, Bradley Central, McMinn County and Walker Valley high schools). The Challenge had schools competing against one another to see who could raise the most money per student. Walker Valley raised the highest amount at just over $2,500. The 2012 Pink Ribbon Bowl totaled $13,060 for the MaryEllen Locher Foundation. The two-year total for the Pink Ribbon Bowl is $24,200.
