He was a gentle giant to his family and all who knew him. He was of the Baptist faith. He graduated from Western Hills High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Chattanooga Tech.
Survivors include his father, Bill Lawson; and his mother, Louise Lawson, both of Cleveland; sister, Victoria Caldwell and husband, Eric Caldwell; and brother, Scotty Lawson, all of Cleveland; nieces and nephews: Angel Marie Lawson, Taylor Scott Lawson, Bettina Christine Ingram, Jason Michael McIntosh, Ryan Tyler Caldwell and Casey Colman Caldwell; and several aunts and uncles.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Herbert Fansler officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
