The theme for the Ministers Enrichment conference is “A New Awakening.”
Ministry is full of challenges. Those whose lives are dedicated to the work of God need set times to step aside, reflect on God’s purposes, seek Him for fresh revelation and interact with others who are anointed, a representative said.
“We are structuring this year’s conference to accomplish these goals. It is all about helping you achieve your best, and undergirding you with the strength of spiritual networking,” he said.
One of the most preached parables of Jesus concerns the 10 virgins, five wise and five foolish. The Master teacher explained, “they all slumbered and slept.” (Mt. 25:5) You would think only the foolish would be depicted this way, but both were asleep. What was God saying? That unfortunately, to one degree or another, we are all asleep to the fullness of our potential in the Kingdom. The three chief apostles — Peter, James and John — were caught sleeping during two of the most important moments in their walk with the Lord — the heavenly visitation on the mount of Transfiguration and the blood-sweating agony of the Messiah in the Garden of Gethsemane. These apostles almost ‘missed their moment.
“Every believer is a minister according to the Word of God, so all are invited.
