Bachman Academy will hold its annual Neighbor Day Oct. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. General admission is free to the public.

Neighbor Day festivities will include free food, music, an open car and motorcycle show (vehicle entry fee $15, trophies awarded), a tractor exhibit and a vehicle parts swap. The event will also feature “kid-friendly” games and activities, including inflatables, horse rides and face painting. New activities include a cake walk and chili cook-off.

Neighbor Day will be held on the Bachman Academy campus on Brymer Creek Road, just off South Lee Highway in Cleveland.

As part of LD Awareness month in October, Bachman Academy will also offer free self-screening assessments for dyslexia and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Bachman Academy is a boarding and day school in McDonald that provides hands-on academics and career-education to students with learning differences like dyslexia and ADHD.
