Fifty years ago this month, students were preparing to begin the eighth grade at Oak Grove Elementary School in Cleveland. Now 50 years later, all members of the Oak Grove School class from the first day the new school opened in January 1956 through the eighth-grade class of 1962-63 are invited to celebrate the eight years spent at Oak Grove. The event will be Sept. 2, 12:30 p.m. at the Golden Corral. Reservations are not necessary. All members of the Oak Grove Class of 1956 through 1963 are invited. Come have lunch with the group and see what everyone looks like now and how great everyone turned out. Come for an afternoon of remembering and reconnecting. Some students have not been located, so any information about their whereabouts is needed — Where are you? What are you up to? Where has life taken you?
