Darrell and Lisa Oakley of McDonald announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Erica, to Brent Freeman, the son of Mike and Dee Dee Freeman of Gallatin.

The couple will wed in a 7 p.m. ceremony on Dec. 31 at North Cleveland Church of God, where the bride-elect is a member.

Miss Oakley is the sister of Jessica Oakley, Ben Oakley and Alex Oakley, all of Cleveland.

She is a graduate of Bradley Central High School and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.

Mr. Freeman is the brother of Lindsay Greenwood of Dawsonville, Ga., and Buck Freeman of Gallatin.

He is a graduate of South Forsyth High School and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where he also received his master’s in business administration. He is employed by Healthcare Management Systems in Nashville. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Hendersonville.
