Obe Jack Lawson, 78, formerly of Cleveland and a resident of Taylor, Mich., passed away Dec. 11, 2012, at his home in Taylor.

He was the son of the late Earl and Francis Lawson. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.

Survivors include his children: Lisa (Irvin), Cady, Lori Carrico, Tonya and Mitchell; his seven grandchildren; his four great-grandchildren; siblings: Ivey Geren, Rick Lawson and Connie Tate; and his special friends, Betty and Bill Hicks.

The Remembrance of Life graveside service and Interment will be conducted Thursday afternoon, Dec. 27, 2012, at 1 p.m. from the Green Hills Cemetery in Etowah.

A visitation was held at Uht Funeral Home in Michigan on Dec. 15, 2012.
