A hunter’s tree stand was reportedly stolen from his Carson Road property and reported to local authorities.

According to a report filed by deputy Casey Kerr of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, Robert Pritchard said someone entered property where he hunts behind his residence and cut a lock, removing the tree stand. Four-wheeler tracks were present at the scene, according to the report.

There was no value listed in the report.

- Deputy Kerr also responded Sunday to a Kinser Road residence where someone had broken into a home and took a number of music related items.

According to his report, Victor Cowart said someone entered his home through a garage and took two Marshall amplifiers and two Les Paul guitars.

Each guitar was valued at $2,500 and the amplifiers at $200 each.

Investigation is ongoing, according to Kerr.

- A residence on Red Hill Valley Road was reportedly burglarized while the homeowner was incarcerated at the Bradley County Jail.

Deputy Brandon Edwards filed a report for Teresa Pritchett, who is watching over a residence owned by Tim McKay.

Pritchett said she entered the McKay residence and noticed some items missing.

Authorities were notified and Edwards responded to the residence to file a report.

Detective Kevin White responded to the scene to begin his investigation into the burglary which may have occurred late last week.

Investigation is continuing.

- Cleveland Police arrested an Aurora Avenue man during the weekend and charged him with a variety of alleged narcotics related charges.

According to officer Tyler McGuire, he was dispatched to a noise disturbance where he discovered the door to the home was standing open and a radio playing music with the volume turned up.

McGuire also noted “smoke coming from the apartment.”

As he approached the doorway, McGuire found Jeffery L. Buckner sitting on a couch and a suspected marijuana cigarette laying in plain view on the coffee table where Buckner was sitting.

The officer asked Buckner if the cigarette contained suspected marijuana and Buckner reportedly picked it up, threw it to the floor and stepped on it in an attempt to destroy evidence, according to the report.

After searching Buckner’s person, McGuire found approximately 4.53 grams of suspected marijuana inside Buckner’s jacket pocket.

Buckner was placed under arrest and transported to the Bradley County Jail where a corrections officer located a prescription medication bottle which contained pills not noted on the bottle, according to the report.

Buckner was charged with simple possession of marijuana, possession of legend and possession of Schedule IV drugs and tampering with evidence.
