Ora America Mullins, 81, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011, at her home.
She was a lifelong resident of Bradley County and a member of New Hope Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Sara Trentham Jones; husbands: George E. Hembree and James H. Mullins; two brothers: Sherman Jones and George Jones; and two sisters: Nora Spurling and Ethel Cross.
Survivors include her children: Billy R. Hembree, Sandra Sue Ross and husband Toby, Earl L. Hembree and wife, Darlene, Roger Hembree and wife, Fay, Linda Baliles, Tommy Hembree, Rosie Staton, and Tonnia Davenport and husband, Greg; 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Elsie Bruce; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Revs. Johnny Prater and Tim Crowden officiating.
Interment will follow in Hembree Cemetery in Copperhill, concluding with a white dove release ceremony.
Her family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
