Owen O’Neal Ware Jr., 25, a resident of Cleveland, departed this life on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Erlanger Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rosa Lee Mach Campbell and Hazel Foster; and his uncles Leonard Woods, Clarence Donohoo, Savanah Roberson and William White.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was a graduate of Cleveland High School class of 2006. He attended Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro studying Industrial/Organi-zational Psychology and Management. He also attended University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in Chattanooga. He was employed with Whirlpool USA as a customer service representative.

He was a beautiful son who loved spending time with his family. He was a mentor to his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed watching them play ball and spent time playing with them. He grew up loving sports, because his grandfather was a member of the Cleveland Ace Baseball team, so sports became a family favorite. He loved going out to eat, traveling and family gatherings together to share love and laughter.

He leaves to cherish his many memories, his parents, Angela and Owen O’Neal Sr.; four sisters: Demetra Ware, Yashema (Aristotle) Huffman and Twana Blair, all of Cleveland, and Tanisha (Marlin) Blair of Chattanooga; brother, Lavar Williams of Cleveland; grandparents: Evelyn and Edwin Davis; aunts: Maria (Jed) Whaley, Joyce Davis and Denise (Gerald) Jordan, all of Cleveland, Sherri Hooker of Chicago, Ill., Nancy (Edgar) Bayless, Patsy Woods, Ruth Ware and Dale Ware Donohoo, all of Cleveland, Theresa (Alphonso) Baltimore of Charleston, S.C., Maudry Roberson of Chattanooga and Brenda White of Cleveland; uncles: Todd Davis, Edwin Jr. (Janet) Davis and Milo (Candee) Ware, all of Cleveland; great-aunt, Mary Catherine Carter; several nieces; his special nephew, Taye Cobb; special nieces: Harmonie Ware and Ariyah Huffman; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

The body may be viewed Wednesday, May 21, 2014, from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair Street.

The family will receive friends Thursday from noon until the 1 p.m service time at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 799 East Inman Street

Interment to follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.
