Panera Bread opened its remodeled bakery-cafe in Cleveland at 375 Paul Huff Parkway on Thursday.

The location, featuring a drive-thru for the convenience of Panera Bread customers, will open its doors at 6:30 a.m.

The folks at Panera Bread hope the remodeled bakery-cafe in Cleveland will offer a warm and welcoming environment, including intimate seating areas, comfortable chairs, a community table and free WiFi Internet access.

“We look forward to opening our remodeled bakery-cafe in such a vital community,” said Tom Krings, chief operating officer. “We chose the Cleveland location because of its significance to the community, and we hope the drive-thru element will provide added convenience to the many customers who live and travel through this area. Our concept has been embraced by many surrounding communities in the Chattanooga area over the past 15 years, and we look forward to sharing our signature Panera warmth here in Cleveland.”

A full catering menu will be offered at the new bakery-cafe as well. Available for breakfast, lunch and snacks, Panera Catering is ideal for any group from five to five hundred.

At the end of each day, Panera Bread donates all unsold bread and baked goods to local area hunger relief agencies as part of its local Day-End Dough-Nation program.

The hours of operation for Panera Bread at the Cleveland are Sundays from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Mondays through Saturdays from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information, call 472-5444. Additional information is available at
