Patricia Diane Rogers, 57, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012, in a local hospital.

She was a former employee of Whirlpool.

She was the daughter of the late Kenneth Smith and Frances L. Ford Beasley. She was also preceded in death by her sisters: Vicki Cantrell and Cathy Smith; and stepbrother, Steve Beasley.

She is survived by her husband, Jewell “Trent” Rogers Sr. of Cleveland; children: Angela Rai Smith and husband, Jeff, of Cleveland and Jewell Trent Rogers Jr., all of Cleveland; grandchildren: Briana Whaley and husband, Michael, Aerica Reed and husband, Chris, Alison Kazy and Briley Kazy, all of Cleveland; sisters: Mary Smith, Teresa Smith and Barbara Bunch, all of Cleveland; special sisters-in-law: Jane Banther, Dorothy Dunn, Sandy Dowdy and JoAnn Rogers, all of Tellico Plains; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Rogers officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 this evening at the funeral home and also from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
