Patrick “Pat” Dwyer, 63, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at his residence.

He was of the Catholic faith and a U.S. Army veteran where he spent three tours in Vietnam.

He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was a member of the VFW 2598, American Legion Post 81 and an avid pool player.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Dwyer and Lois Cloutier; brother, Michael Dwyer; and brother-in-law, Terry Crary.

He is survived and loved dearly by his wife, Donna Crary Dwyer; daughter, Angie Oldham Huggins of Charlotte, N.C.; two grandchildren: Coby Lynn Turner of Des Moines, Iowa, and Katie Coffelt of Charlotte; sisters-in-law: Margaret Dwyer, Sandy and Kenneth Baker, Jackie and Larry Freeman, Judith Parks, several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Russell Huggins.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel White officiating with military honors.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service.
