Patsy Walker, 65, a resident of Cleveland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday morning, April 6, 2013, at her home.

She was a lifelong resident of the Cleveland area being born here on Sept. 2, 1947, a daughter of the late Jack Morgan.

She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the South View Baptist Church. She was a collector and enjoyed spending time with her friends. She worked for many years as a CNA at both Bradley Healthcare & Rehab and then later retiring from Signature Healthcare.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Walker.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother and stepfather, Gertrude Morgan and Ralph Ledford; two daughters: Donna Lynn Swafford and Ginger Suzann Carden and husband, Franklin; one son, Nathan Leon Walker; four grandchildren: Isaiah Swafford, Matthew Swafford (Kelly), Jessica Carden and Andrew Carden; two brothers, Leonard Morgan (Francene) and Noah Morgan (Diane); and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.

A celebration of her life is planned for tonight, April 9, 2013, at 8 at Temple Baptist Church, 3070 Harrison Pike in Cleveland, with the Revs. Paul Fox and Jackie Dale Carden officiating.

The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 8 prior to service time.

The family will reassemble at Temple Baptist Church on Wednesday at 10 a.m. and then proceed to Sunset Memorial Gardens for an 11 a.m. graveside committal service.

James Branam, Jackie Morgan, Keith Crum, Mike Innis, Justin Morgan and David Tucker will serve as pallbearers.
