MAX AND WANDA PELLEY are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 3. Mrs. Pelley is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Randolph. Mr. Pelley is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Pelley (who were of Calhoun and Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada). They are the parents of Marine 1st Sgt. David Pelley (retired) and wife, Colleen, of Lexington, S.C., Derrick Pelley and wife, Kelly, of Cleveland, Hope Anne Pelley Liekness and husband, Chief Roger Liekness (retired Navy) of Augusta, Ga., and Staff Sgt. Heather Pelley of Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Pelley became an American citizen on Nov. 13, 1969. He is retired from Abitibi Bowater after 43 years of service. They reside in Charleston and attend the East Side Church of Christ in Cleveland. To his friends, he is known as “Moon.”
