Congratulations to Walker Valley's Katie Bishop for being named the Check Into Cash Player of the Week. After helping the Lady Mustangs to a runner-up finish in the TSSAA State Championship last fall, the junior golfer has led this year's squad to a repeat of the District 5-AAA title, earning second low-medalist honors in the district tournament earlier this week. She has been the team's low medalist in all but two of their matches this season.
