William Bates, 66, was working with his tractor Thursday at his home on Tasso Lane when the tractor rolled, trapping him underneath it.
Bates was able to free himself before paramedics and other first responders arrived on the scene.
According to Stan Clark, information officer for BCEMS, Bates did require treatment.
He was taken to SkyRidge Medical Center where he was treated then later released.
Bradley County Fire Rescue and the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene and offered assistance, according to Clark.
n Three black angus cows were reported missing from a Gatlin Road farm last week.
According to a report filed by deputy Darren Miller of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, Gary Auberry was contacted by a neighbor who stated she saw a vehicle pulling a silver trailer in the pasture.
The neighbor said the trailer was in the pasture on May 3.
Auberry indicated no one was supposed to have been in the pasture that day.
According to the report, the cattle was valued at $1,800.
