Ms. Elizabeth Chase Ramsey and Paul Wayne Ramsey, both of Cleveland, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth, to Steven Kyle Clayton, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Earl Clayton.

The couple will wed in a 7 p.m. ceremony on June 4, 2011, at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, where the bride-elect is a member.

Miss Ramsey is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Lans Chase of Cleveland, Mrs. Clyde Wiseman Ramsey of Cleveland and the late Mr. Ramsey. She is the sister of Chase Ramsey of Cleveland.

She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and is now in the master’s program.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Master Sgt. William Thomas and Mrs. Clayton of Red Clay, Ga., Mrs. Robert Louis Shults of Cohutta, Ga., and the late Rev. Shults. He is the brother of Mollie Clayton of Nashville.

Mr. Clayton will graduate from Kennesaw (Ga.) State University in May 2011. He is a member of Waterville Baptist Church.
