Randall L. Carroll of Fort Myers, Fla., arrived in Heaven early Sunday morning, Aug. 10, 2013.
He was born August 8, 1933, in Cleveland. He owned and operated Florida Motors in Fort Myers and was in the car business, which was his passion, all of his life.
He and his beloved wife, Gaila, attended The Light at Fort Myers church.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Anna Mae and Paul Carroll, and brother, Robert Carroll.
His surviving family includes his wife, Gaila, and brother Jim Carroll, of Fort Myers; daughters, Teresa Edison of Kalamazoo, Mich., Diane Langan, of Los Angeles, Cali., and April Osborn of Fort Myers; sons, David and Rick Carroll of Fort Myers and Baron Carroll of Cleveland. He was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be at The Light at Fort Myers Church, located at 40 Tarpon Street, Fort Myers, FL, 33916.
The memorial service will follow the viewing at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Steve Lowery of Washington, D.C., and Tommie Zito of Fort Myers, officiating.
A private family burial will follow on Thursday.
