He was a member of the Anchor Point Foundation in Cleveland. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene A. Tate and Betty J. Cathey Tate Greene; and one brother, Michael Tate.
He is survived by his three daughters: Ashley Tate Dunn of Cleveland and Corina Tate and April Tate of Cincinnati, Ohio; one granddaughter, Summer Dunn; and brothers and sisters: Paul Greene Jr. and wife, Lisa, of Cleveland, Rebecca Lockwood and husband, Paul, of McDonald, Eddie Tate of Cleveland, Barbara Merritt of Cleveland and Melanie Tate West and husband, Michael, of Cleveland; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, from 3 to 5 p.m. with the funeral following at 5 p.m. at Set Free Fellowship Church, 1117 King Edward Ave. in Cleveland, with the Rev. Russell Coffey officiating.
Interment will be private.
