Randell Woodrow Haynes, 58, of Tellico Plains, passed away at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at his home after a lengthy illness.
He was a member of River of Life Ministries in Tellico Plains.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a very proud father of Zach and Shela.
He was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Haynes; brother, Rex L. Haynes; and niece, Talana Fulbright.
Survivors include his former wife, Melanie E. Hyde Haynes; daughter, Shela My D. Haynes; son, Zachary E. Haynes; mother, Floria Williams Haynes; sisters and brothers-in-law: Judy K. and David Carter, Bonnie L. and Joey Wilson, Margie F. and Olin Johnson, Patricia A. “Puzz” Phillips, Carolyn V. (Cobbie) and Tim Dean, Linda Sue and Gary McKee; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie R. (Yogi) and Nancy Haynes; nieces: Felicia Dean, Jessica Plante, Kristen Johnson, Harley Moser and Amanda Haynes; nephews: Kevin Haynes, Matt Tallent, Seth Tallent, Brian Dean, Brandon Johnson, Nathan McKee, Dylan Haynes and Jesse Haynes; six great-nieces and nephews; extended family: Ron Jr. and Ladonna Hyde, Herb Jr. and Harriet Cannon, Phyllis and Jim Willis, Gerald and Laura Hyde, Marvin and Barbara Hyde, Mitchell and Sandy Hyde, Gary and Linda Hyde, Janice and Edward Stine and their families of 22 nieces and nephews; 15 great-nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jim and Tina Taylor.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home of Madisonville with the Rev. Rickey Pyror and the Rev. Mickey Payne officiating.
Interment will be in Citico Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kevin D. Haynes, S. Matt Tallent, R. Seth Tallent, T. Brian Dean, Brandon O.K. Johnson and Nathan L. McKee.
The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in Madisonville.
