She was born Oct. 6, 1923, in Eau Claire, Wis., and celebrated her 89th birthday this year.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert John Fredrick Noelck Sr. She was one of nine children.
She was survived by two older sisters: Lois Walldock of Saint Paul, Minn., and Dorothy Easterson of Des Moines, Wash.; two sons: Robert John Fredrick Noelck Jr. and wife, Joan Noelck, of Cleveland and Larry Douglas Noelck and wife, Suellen Noelck, of Louisville, Ky.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was a 59-year member of First Lutheran Church in Cleveland and enjoyed many social activities and volunteer work with friends both at church and throughout Cleveland. Her radiant faith in her Savior was evident to all with whom she came in contact. She loved singing the hymns of her faith and especially loved the message written in each song. One of her special gifts was visiting others, especially the lonely and those in need of a cheerful presence.
She was employed many years in the office of Dr. Sam Horner, a local optometrist.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at First Lutheran Church in Cleveland.
