Raymond “Biff” Baker, 51, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at his home.

He was a graduate of Bradley Central High School. He attended Mount Zion Methodist Church. He was an avid fisherman and sports fan.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnny Baker; grandmother, Myrtle Baker Haynes and husband, Miller Haynes; grandparents, Roy and Olivia Johnson; and brother, Tony Darnes.

He is survived by his mother, Doris Baker of Cleveland; father, Raymond Baker and wife, Mary Sue, both of Cleveland; brothers: Bobby Baker and wife, Doris, of Madisonville and Kip Baker and wife, Evelyn, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; nephews: Braden Baker and Trevor Baker, both of Colorado Springs; and several family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at noon, Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery with Hoyle Johnson officiating.

Kip Baker, Bobby Baker, Braden Baker, Trevor Baker, Mike Shaw, Daryl Sliger, Danny Sprouse, David Sprouse, Jeff Miller and Kyle Elrod will serve as pallbearers.

A private visitation will be held for family only on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Grissom Funeral Home.
