Mr. and Mrs. Brian Reel of Dillsboro, Ind., announce the engagement of their daughter, Abby E. Reel of Charlestown, Ind., to Chris M. Ratcliff of Cleveland. He is the son of Sherri Ratcliff and the grandson of Mary Ratcliff, both of Cleveland.

A May 2012 wedding is planned. Miss Reel is a graduate of Cleveland State Community College and Indiana University Southeast. She is employed by Indiana Professional Management Group.

Mr. Ratcliff is a graduate of Bradley Central High School and studied at Cleveland State Community College. He is employed by Easy Auto.
