Bradley Cleveland Community Services Agency’s Jobs For Life Program is a comprehensive training program that advances a holistic approach as its training paradigm.

Participants who graduate from the program are ready for successful employment.

Many job training programs have been around for some time, but Jobs For Life success considers the importance of developing the whole person by incorporating a biblical foundation for a well-rounded life.

Registration for classes began Monday. Classes start Oct. 15 and continue for eight weeks.

There will be two sessions each week each Tuesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m.

Jobs For Life is an international nonprofit organization launched in 1996 from Raleigh-Durham, N.C.

Jobs For Life enables community organizations to become Jobs For Life sites, fully equipped to provide job training, ongoing assistance and hope to those who struggle finding and keeping employment through a strategy combining work readiness training, biblical principles and volunteer mentoring.

There are jobs for Life sites in 180 cities and 40 states serving approximately 3,500 men and women per year.

Sites include urban and suburban churches, shelters, prisons and re-entry programs, ministries to at-risk youth, community development corporations, rescue missions, faith based crime prevention programs, YMCAs, faith based substance abuse recovery programs, community nonprofits, and many more.

The No. 1 quality companies look for in their employees is character, yet many people who struggle finding and keeping employment do not exhibit the character or have access to community support systems to help them experience success in the marketplace.

Churches and community-based organizations are an extraordinary resource to help people learn and become connected to a community to support allowing them to achieve not only success at work but also success at life.
