Bradley County Road Department will be closing Samples Chapel Road on Monday, according to Tom Collins, road superintendent.

The road closure is necessitated by the replacement of a bridge over Mill Creek.

The bridge is located one-fourth of a mile east of the Samples Chapel Road and South Bucks Pocket Road intersection. Closure will be three to five months for the necessary work (weather permitting).

Collins “appreciates your patience as we continue to improve our bridges and roads.”
