Ronnie Lee Underwood, 60, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday morning, July 26, 2010, at the residence.

He was the son of the late Frances Henry Underwood and John Underwood. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Joyce Underwood; brothers: Clifford Carter, Leonard Underwood, Floyd Underwood and Ray Underwood.

He was retired from Cleveland Chair.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie Malone Underwood, of Cleveland; daughter, Tonya Underwood of Cleveland; sons: Scotty Underwood and Anthony Underwood, both of Cleveland; five grandchildren; sister, Debbie Monger of Cleveland; brothers: Larry Underwood of Tennga, Ga. and Charles Underwood of Philadelphia, Pa.; mother-in- law, Bessie Malone of Cleveland; special brother-in-law, Wayne Monger of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Revs. Hershel Malone and A.C. Cooper officiating.

Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 this evening at the funeral home.
