Kat Alomar’s aggressive defensive play led the junior varsity Lady Raiders in a 26-22 win over visiting New Hope Middle School Monday night.

Shawia Anderson contributed six points with Taelor Hill and Hannah Claudio tossing in four apiece to lead the Lady Raiders to their 11th win against one loss.

In game 2, the Lady Raiders again faced New Hope Middle and won 45-7. Alomar once again showed up to play getting a double-double for her first time this season. Alomar snatched 10 steals, pulled five rebounds and scored 12 points. Taelor Hill scored 11 points, Anderson tossed in nine while Emilee Spann and Kellee Geren added two baskets each. Brina Lovelace nailed a 3-pointer for CMS.

The JV Lady Raiders will face Ocoee Middle Saturday at OMS beginning at 12 p.m.

Lady Bruins 30

The sixth-grade Lady Raiders defeated the Lake Forest Lady Bruins 38-30 at Lake Forest Monday night.

Sofia Stamatiadis led the Lady Raiders with 23 points and Gabria Hubbard tossed in eight. Hubbard tallied eight steals on the defensive end and Morman and Stamatiadis had seven and six rebounds respectively.

The Lady Raiders are now 2-1 on the season.
