The Cleveland Middle School varsity Lady Raiders were back in action Tuesday night hosting conference rival Sweetwater Middle, walking away with a 55-10 win

The Lady Raiders made quick work of the visiting Lady Cats leading at the half 30-9. Taelor Hill led all scorers with 10 markers. Jenna Scoggins tossed in nine points while Gabby Saliba contributed eight, Jamiyah Person seven, and Sarah Crump six. Also, getting in the book was Jaclyn Griffith and BreAsia Ware with four points each. Kat Alomar added three points, Hallea McClendon and Courtney Marr had a basket each and Timyrah Phillips tossed in a free throw Christy Bruswell led Sweetwater with four free throws.

The CMS Varsity Lady Raiders are now 8-0.

The sixth-grade Lady Raiders defeat Meigs County 45-17 recently.

Charging the way for Cleveland was Gabria Hubbard with 13 points and eight steals. Lauren Lee tossed in 10 points, Sofia Stamatiadis and Amber Morman put in seven and six apiece for CMS.

The Lady Raiders are 4-2 face Lake Forest Saturday at 10 a.m.
