Roy Lee Tucker, 73, of Benton, passed away at 8:50 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.

He retired from Olin Chemical Co. after 31 years service.

He had a strong passion for fishing and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by mother, Hazel Miller.

Survivors include wife, Betty Jo Tucker; son, Ricky Lynn Tucker of Benton; grandson, Jacob Tucker; great-grandchildren: Aubrey Tucker, Easton Reed Tucker, Lakin Nathaniel Tucker; sisters: Barbara Morrison of Mississippi, Betty Howell of Dalton, Ga., Katie Moses of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service and interment was held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at Cane Creek Cemetery in Tellico Plains with the Rev. Frank Hicks officiating.

Arrangements were by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home in Madisonville.
