Ruby Eleanor Hall, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014.

She was born and raised in Cleveland, and lived here the majority of her life, except for the time when she traveled with her husband, Seymour, as he served in the military.

She loved crocheting, knitting, and cooking. She was also a member of Restoration Fellowship Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Joseph and Thelma Prince; her husband of 51 years, retired Master Sgt. Seymour Hall; six brothers; four sisters; and her best friend, Tina Perry.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons: Joseph I. Hall (Teresa) of Port St. Joe, Fla., and Aaron S. Hall (Crystal) of Knoxville; daughter, Faith R. Bowman of Chattanooga; last living sister, Ruth Hamblin; grandchildren: Jacob O. Hall, Lauren M. Hall, Tessa E.L. Hall, Lauren R. Bowman, Alicia J. Beshears, Breanna L. Beshears and Emily M. Kopp; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

The funeral will be held tonight, March 21, 2014, at 8 at Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, 2415 Georgetown Road N.W, with the Rev. Frank Nolen officiating.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
