Ruby Florence Fletcher, 84, went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2011, at the family residence.

She was an active member of Shady Springs Baptist Church and a lifelong Sunday school teacher.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Elizabeth Cochran Wilson and Larkin Wilson; her husband: Roy Fletcher; and several brothers.

She is survived by her children: Phyllis Price and her husband Gene, Janice White and her husband Steve, Danny Fletcher, Sandy McClary and her husband Andy, and David Fletcher and his wife Linda, all of Old Fort; grandchildren: LaGenia Sutton, Kelly Ogle, Shana Stephens, Tiffany Martin, Adam McClary, Jada Loftin, Jamie Fletcher, Seth McClary, Zackary Fletcher, Zebulun Fletcher, and Lorretta Fletcher; great-grandchildren: Breanne Martin, Stefany Ogle, Luke Sutton, Presley Sutton, BritLee Ogle, Wyatt Martin, Kellsey Ogle, Farrah Cooke, Alden McClary, Bella McClary, Addi McClary and Eli Loftin; one sister, Janie “Cricket” Headrick; and several nieces and nephews.

The Remembrance of Life service will be today, June 5, 2011, at 2 p.m. from the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Eddie Trentham and the Rev. Scott Martin officiating.

Interment will follow in the Ball Play Cemetery with Seth McClary, Adam McClary, Zack Fletcher, Zeb Fletcher, Luke Sutton and Wyatt Martin serving as pallbearers.
