She was a retired school teacher at Charleston Elementary School where she taught for 30 years. She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bryan; parents, Chapman and Lena Hobach Wasson; and son, Steven Bryan.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Thompson and Judy Bryan, both of Cleveland; four grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held today, August 20, 2012 at 4 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Robert Smith officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3: to 4 today at Grissom Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 3405 Peerless Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37312.
