Saddling up for St. Jude
SADDLE UP AND RIDE for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is happening again this year on Saturday. Rain date is April 28. The 10-mile ride, in memory of Clint Beck and Jerry Reagan, begins at 10 a.m. at the Taylor Ruritan Club arena, located east of Cleveland off U.S. Highway 64 at 221 Old Kinser Road. Pictured above, from left, are Denise Montgomery who is riding Pokeman; James Montgomery, 12, who is on Comanche; Jackie Montgomery, 11, who is riding Sugar Bear; and Kathy Reagan who is on Charlie. The riders and their horses are pictured in the corral at Lucky Acres Stables. The two boys are wearing sombreros that belonged to their grandfather, Jerry Reagan, who died in 2010.
