Sally Ann Black, 79, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Lucy Varner Visage and was also preceded in death by a brother, Wendell Visage.
She was retired from SunTrust Bank with more than 30 years of service.
After her retirement from banking she worked at T.J.Maxx more than 13 years of service.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cleveland and a 1952 graduate of Bradley Central High School. She loved to read and work with her flowers.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Eugene Black; one son, Jeffery Black and his wife, Sandy, of Cleveland; one granddaughter, Mary Beth Black of St. Louis; two sisters: Polly Allmon and Carolyn Botts, both of Cleveland; four brothers: Charles J. Visage of Washington D.C., James Visage and his wife, Louise, of Crossville, Wayne Visage and his wife, Mary, of Blairsville Ga., Paul Dewey Visage and his wife, Marsha, of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014, at the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes, with the Rev. Leroy Elliott officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Tony Allmon, Buster Visage, Michael Visage, Eddie Visage, Gary Visage, Dennis Visage and John Redd serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 p.m. until the service time at the funeral home.
