The bride is the daughter of the Rev. Don and Joann Whitehead of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of Edward and Ruth Ann Swallows of Old Fort, Frances Whitehead of Cleveland and the late Glen Whitehead.
The bridegroom is the son of Judge Michael and Melanie Sharp of Cleveland. He is the grandson of Jim and Sue Sharp of Cleveland, Carlanna Gill of Cleveland and the late Joe Gill.
The wedding was officiated by Dr. Jamison Work, pastor of Candies Creek Baptist Church. Nuptial music was presented by Andrew Whitehead, brother of the bride.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. A candle was placed in memory of Lacey Allen, designated maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Laurel Allen, Kelsey Morton and Mary Kate Work, all of Cleveland, and the bridegroom’s sister, Sarah Wangaard of Birmingham, Ala. Leah Wangaard of Birmingham was flower girl.
The bridegroom’s father served as his best man. Groomsmen were Clay Bunch, Harold Gage and Reid Work, all of Cleveland, and Elias Wangaard of Birmingham. Ethan Zerk of Cleveland was usher.
The bride’s family gave the wedding reception at the church with members of Oak Grove Baptist Church assisting and serving.
Haleigh Disharoon and Aubrey Reagan attended the bride’s book.
After a wedding trip to New York, the couple is at home in Cleveland.
