The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office arrested three teenagers early Thursday morning on charges of burglarizing vehicles after responding to a prowler call.

Reports indicated Christapher Earl Allen Baumgartner, 19, Jordan Allen Hicks, 19, have been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, possession of burglary tools and three counts of automobile burglary. A third suspect, a juvenile male was also charged in the incident.

According to Bradley County Sheriff’s Office media coordinator and public information officer Bob Gault, deputies responded to the area of Camellia Avenue about 1:40 a.m. after receiving reports of prowlers in the area.

Gault said witnesses reportedly told deputies they saw the suspects entering vehicles and gave a description of the vehicle the suspects were driving.

Deputies located the vehicle along Georgetown Road and initiated a traffic stop. During the traffic stop, deputies reportedly found the suspects in possession of MP3 players and a digital camera taken from two vehicles on Georgetown Road.

Baumgartner and Hicks were taken into custody and transported to the Bradley County jail. The juvenile was released into custody of the Bradley County Juvenile Detention Center.

Baumgartner and Hicks are currently each being held on a $20,000 bond.

The two suspects are scheduled to appear in General Sessions court Thursday.
