Lt. Bob Hancock said a meeting is scheduled at the Taylor Elementary School cafeteria Tuesday, May 24. The objective for the Shady Hollow program is to inform and install residents. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Hancock also said a program is being designed for residents of Ashlin Ridge. That meeting will be held next Wednesday at 157 Ashlin Ridge. It will also begin at 6:30 p.m.

- Tennessee Highway Patrol will be holding Sobriety Checkpoints in Bradley County on May 27. THP officials made the announcement during the weekend. A checkpoints are contingent upon weather conditions and manpower availability.
- Bradley County deputy Anthony Cochran responded to a Thorne Circle address and filed a burglary report for Anthony Lynn. According to his report, someone entered Lynn’s home and took cash, a bottle of medication and some old coins.
The victim did list a possible suspect in the case.
- Virginia Ballinger of an Old Harrison Circle address said someone took a white gold two-carat cluster and wedding band.
The theft was believed to have occurred sometime last week. Ballinger said she had several visitors during the past week and a suspect could not be established. Investigation is continuing.
