USDA Forest Service officials at the Cherokee National Forest said the Spring Creek Road, NFSR No. 27 in Polk County will be temporally closed while a culvert is replaced.
The Spring Creek Shooting Range and dispersed camping sites along the creek will remain accessible from Highway 411.
Detour signs will be posted in the area while work is in progress. Weather permitting, the work is expected to be completed by the end of February.
