He was a NHRA Drag Racing enthusiast and enjoyed riding motorcycles. He was of the Baptist faith and was currently employed with Filter Specialists Inc.
He is survived by his parents, Billy and Betty McCallie Prueitt; two aunts: Alice Glenn and Tommye Roark; and uncle, Neil McCallie, all of Birchwood; and special friend, Lora Young of Athens.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at McInturff Cemetery with the Rev. David Delmotte officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
