Cleveland Police detectives are looking for a male suspect who reportedly burglarized a car while the owner was visiting the YMCA.

According to detective Matt Jenkins of the Criminal Investigations Division, Janice Miles reported she had been swimming and exercising inside the building of the Cleveland YMCA located on Urbane Road.

When she returned to her car, she noticed someone had broken out her driver’s side window, opened the trunk and taken her purse.

“The suspect(s) immediately took Miles’ credit cards and conducted numerous fraudulent charges. He is described as being a large white male and was accompanied by a white female with short brown or red hair,” Jenkins said.

The suspects were captured on video security cameras leaving the YMCA parking lot and driving a black Honda Accord with the license tag removed.

Any information on the identity of either of the two suspects can contact Jenkins 303-3134.
