The Tennessee Christian Preparatory School Lady Hawks and the Apostolic Lady Flames battled during the ladies' semifinal game Monday night at the Rossville Athletic Complex in the SCAA tournament. TC Prep began strong but was met with the same intensity from Apostolic.

It was a tight ballgame with the Lady Flames up two at halftime, but the Lady Hawks got their second wind and never looked back.

TC Prep conquered Apostolic with a 46-29 victory to move on to the championship game Tuesday night at 6 p.m.

The Lady Hawks were led by sophomore Neeley Benton who sunk 24 points and pulled down eight rebounds. Junior Logan Hall was clutch on the boards with 12 rebounds, and added seven points to the total.

"I am proud of the intensity we came out with in the second half and our ability to secure the lead for the win. We played as a team and were able to get the job done," Lady Hawks coach Tawnie Locklear said.

The leading scorer for the Lady Flames was Alisha McCarter with 20 points.
