His career was in car sales, and he was most at home on the river with his family, where he spent countless hours.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Marion Janice; brothers: Lamar and Bobby; and parents, Jo and Marion Talley.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Ridley; daughter, Jennifer Headrick (Daniel); grandchildren: Mary Frances and Joseph Headrick; brother, Gregg (Becky); sister, Sherry; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at 4 p.m. EDT Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel in Knoxville.
