The noon meeting was opened by Swanola McKeehan with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
Ruby Ball read from Psalms 37:5 for the devotion.
Cartwright called the roll which was answered by “Tell us about a vacation spot you would like to visit, but have never been able to.”
Members discussed decorating for the Fall Rally and also scarf and hat collections, and bingo prizes for the nursing home.
Others present were Mary Bagley, Retha Odom, Mary Lou Woods, Mary Ann Cornelius, Oleta Ownby, Brenda Carder, Linda Brown and guests, Myrtle Smith and Gladys Pierce.
A covered-dish lunch was enjoyed by all.
