The Cleveland Futbol Club Flames ’98 returned from a great weekend of soccer in White House, where they won four consecutive games to claim a tournament championship in the White House Fall Classic 16-under bracket. The first win came against a Tennessee Division 2 state league opponent and punched the Flames ’98 ticket to compete in the Tennessee Division 2 state championship tournament in November. The league started in August with 16 teams from across the state. Only the top six teams qualified for a spot to compete for the state championship. With Saturday's win the Flames ended with a state league record of 4-1-1 to lock up a spot in the statewide contest.
