THE REFUGE was the site of a ribbon cutting recently held by the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce. Cutting the ribbon for The Refuge are, from left, Kelli Kyle, vice-president and director of community involvement, and Terry Johns, owner. Also pictured above are the board of directors and staff of The Refuge along with ambassadors from the chamber. The Refuge is a partner organization with the Blythe Family Support Center. It is a charitable 501(c)(3) agency that focuses on the development of the Cleveland community, primarily the East Cleveland community. The Refuge provides resources such as job searches, resume writing and a computer lab. It also provides training in the following areas: computer skills, CPR/AED certification, GED, job and career skills, and money and banking.
