Tim Bailey, 54, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, in a local hospital.

He was a member of Westmore Church of God, where he was very active and involved anywhere he was needed, be it in drama, youth ministry or as a member of the church choir.

He was a wonderful and talented musician with the ability and talent to play just about any instrument. He went on many mission trips to Guatemala and Mexico.

He loved history, especially Civil War history and being a part of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. He was also involved with the drama community in Cleveland and was very involved with Walker Valley High School supporting his son, Zach, as a band parent and was always there for his son in whatever endeavor he chose to do.

He was the parts manager at Larry Hill Ford.

He was the son of the late Herbert Paul and Olive Roberts Bailey. He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Challis and Herbert Wyatt Bailey.

He is survived by his loving family, wife, Darlene Bailey; son, Zach Bailey; sisters: Faye Ham and her husband, Bill, of Sweetwater, and Irene Bentley and her husband, Edward, of Leheigh Acres Fla.; brother, Ivan Bailey of Ocala Fla.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Westmore Church of God with Pastor Kelvin Page and the Rev. Jon Stone officiating.

The family will receive friends from noon to the service time at the church.

The family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City OK, 73123-1718 in Tim Bailey’s memory.
