Sara Elizabeth “Sallie” Wright became the bride of Caleb Christopher Tingle of Watkinsville, Ga., in an evening ceremony on May 15, 2010, at Broad Street United Methodist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Wright of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. John Jaggers Jr. of Cleveland, the late Mr. Jaggers, and Meta Wright of Savannah, Ga.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Tingle of Watkinsville, Ga. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Jenkins of Watkinsville, Franklin McAllister of Watkinsville and the late Mrs. McAllister.

The wedding was officiated by the Rev. Hal Farnsworth, pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church of Athens, Ga. Nuptial music was provided by Jake Coleman, pianist and organist, and Charlie Wright, pianist.

The bride’s parents presented her in marriage. Bridesmaids were Codee Baylee of Soddy-Daisy, Lindsay Hook of Aiken, S.C., Stella Hungerford of Greenville, S.C., Elizabeth Morton of Lookout Mountain, Alison Pryor and Sarah Beth Ramsey, both of Cleveland, the bridegroom’s sisters, Emma Tingle and Katie Tingle, both of Watkinsville, Bryson Young of Greensboro, N.C., and Jean Battle Zvara of Jacksonville, Fla.

The bridegroom’s father served him as best man. Groomsmen were Nathan Bosshardt of Chickamauga, Ga., Alan Doak of signal Mountain, Nathan Kirkpatrick, Daniel James, John Maudlin, J. Tingle and the bridegroom’s brother, Matt Tingle, all of Athens, Michael Martin of Greenville, S.C., and the bride’s brothers, Steele Wright of Cleveland and Charlie Wright of Chicago, Ill.

Ushers who served the wedding were Davonta Appleby, Marty Booker, Terrance Crawford and Lee Scott, all of Athens, Ga., and Adam Murphy and Jefferson Walker, both of Cleveland.

The reception was given by the parents of the bride in the Weaver’s Room at the Old Woolen Mill.
