Aaron D. Lasure, 23, was taken into custody near SkyRidge Medical Center after he reportedly failed to use a turn signal and was observed “driving faster through the parking lot.”
According to officer Cody Hinson of the Cleveland Police Department, as he attempted the traffic stop, Lasure sped up.
Hinson stated in his report that he saw a bag “fly out the passenger side window as the vehicle entered the parking garage.”
Lasure exited the vehicle after he brought his vehicle to a stop.
Hinson stated he identified himself and Lasure pulled “more bags of a green leafy substance out of his pants.”
According to Hinson, Lasure had three bags of suspected marijuana on his person at the time of the traffic stop.
The report indicated the suspected marijuana weighed approximately 4 ounces each, totaling 1 pound.
Lasure was charged with possession of schedule VI for resale, driving on a suspended license and no turn signal.

According to arrest reports filed by detective Joe Musselwhite, he observed a Chevrolet truck fail to stop at a stop sign. Musselwhite noted the area of Leadmine Valley had been the target for a number of outbuilding burglaries and the truck was loaded with various items.
After approaching the driver and asking consent to search the vehicle, Musselwhite located a plastic bag with a crystal substance inside on the vehicle’s floor, as well as a pipe, typically used for smoking methamphetamine, according to Musslewhite’s report.
Gary Lynn Bryson was charged with possession of schedule II drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia .
Driver John E. Dee Williams was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license, possession of schedule II drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
