Betty Ruth Trent will become the bride of Charles David Blackwell, both of Cleveland, in a 7 p.m. ceremony on Feb. 16 at Living Word Church, where they are both members.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mae V. Davis of Cleveland and the late Willard A. Davis. She is the granddaughter of the late Tommy and Polly Davis and the late Walter and Incie Kilby. She is the sister of Ronnie Davis of Cleveland, and Phyllis Stephenson and Jerry N. Stephenson, both of Ocoee.

Ms. Trent is employed by Peyton’s Southeast.

The future bridegroom is the son of Gearldine Blackwell of Cleveland and the late Robert Louis Blackwell. He is the grandson of the late Ted and Alice Blackwell. He is the brother of Sara Smith of Charleston, Mike Blackwell, Kenneth Blackwell, George Blackwell, Gilbert Blackwell and Steve Blackwell, all of Cleveland, Charlotte Wilcox of Gray Court, S.C., and Roberta Chastain of Rocky Face, Ga.

Mr. Blackwell is employed by J&J Drywall.
